1. Parties and acceptance
This Service Agreement is between the company identified during BuildCurrent signup (the Customer) and Christian Soucy carrying on business as Soucy Roofing, operator of BuildCurrent (the Provider).
The person accepting this Agreement confirms that they are authorized to bind the Customer. Acceptance may be recorded with the customer, selected plan, plan version, pricing, entitlements, legal-document versions and acceptance timestamp.
2. Service and available plans
The Provider grants the Customer access to BuildCurrent for internal business operations according to the selected plan and permissions configured for the workspace. CurrentCore and VaultCore are included at every level.
CurrentStart is a permanent free tier at $0 CAD/month with CurrentCore, VaultCore, LeadFlow, QuoteForge, BillFlow and Bridge; 1 user, 25 MB storage, 3 active jobs, 20 customers and 25 BuildCurrent emails per month.
CurrentFlow is $49 CAD/month and adds TimeGrid, CrewCurrent, Cycle and Signal; up to 3 users, 25 GB storage, 500 active jobs, 2,500 customers and 1,500 BuildCurrent emails per month.
CurrentOps is $99 CAD/month and adds FieldCurrent, Foundry, Relay and Pulse; up to 10 users, 100 GB storage, 2,500 active jobs, 10,000 customers and 7,500 BuildCurrent emails per month.
CurrentCommand is $179 CAD/month and adds LedgerCurrent and CurrentPay; up to 25 users, 250 GB storage, 10,000 active jobs, 25,000 customers and 20,000 BuildCurrent emails per month.
The Customer's accepted service snapshot records the applicable plan limits, included functionality and pricing. Published usage limits are plan capacities and important quotas may be enforced server-side.
3. Term, renewal and payment
CurrentStart service begins after direct workspace provisioning and does not create a recurring software charge. Paid service begins after successful payment and workspace provisioning. Unless a written order states otherwise, CurrentFlow, CurrentOps and CurrentCommand subscriptions are month-to-month and renew automatically through Stripe.
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Taxes are added only where required and configured. A Customer on a paid plan authorizes recurring subscription charges to the payment method maintained with Stripe until cancellation takes effect.
Published pricing may change for future signups. Existing paid subscriptions are not silently repriced merely because public pricing changes; price changes occur through an applicable plan change, renewal arrangement, accepted offer or other customer-authorized billing event.
4. Self-serve setup and optional Guided Onboarding
Self-serve setup is included at no onboarding charge. Guided Onboarding is optional, never required, and is billed separately only when selected. Current pricing is $149 CAD one-time for CurrentFlow, $299 CAD one-time for CurrentOps, and $499 CAD one-time for CurrentCommand. CurrentStart has no Guided Onboarding charge.
An onboarding availability range, preferred daypart and timezone are used to arrange an applicable session. They do not guarantee a specific appointment until the Provider sends confirmation.
5. Workspace access and permissions
The Customer controls its authorized users and role assignments subject to plan limits. BuildCurrent uses company context, role-based permissions and database access controls to separate workspaces and restrict features.
The Customer is responsible for safeguarding credentials and devices, maintaining appropriate user access, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
6. Customer data and privacy
The Customer retains its rights in business data and content submitted to BuildCurrent and remains responsible for lawful collection and use of the information it controls. The Provider processes information as described in the Privacy Policy and uses service providers necessary to host, secure, email, bill and operate BuildCurrent.
Payment-card credentials for paid subscriptions and supported customer-payment workflows are handled by Stripe. BuildCurrent stores billing identifiers, plan state, payment status and reconciliation information needed to administer applicable billing and payment workflows.
7. Integrations and third-party services
Supported integrations may include Stripe, QuickBooks Online, Supabase, Vercel, Resend and optional AI providers. Third-party services are subject to their own terms and availability.
QuickBooks connectivity is currently in controlled rollout and may use preview or sandbox functionality until general availability. A visible integration control does not guarantee that the integration is available for every Customer or suitable for production use.
Where AI-assisted features are enabled, output may be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed before business use. AI output is not legal, accounting, tax, engineering, safety or other professional advice.
8. Support and communications
The Provider supplies support through channels made available in BuildCurrent and through the BuildCurrent Contact page. Service, billing, security and account communications may be sent electronically to the Customer's designated contacts.
9. Availability and maintenance
The Provider will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep BuildCurrent available and maintain the service. Maintenance, emergency security work, provider outages and events outside reasonable control may cause interruption. No specific uptime service level applies unless separately agreed in writing.
10. Cancellation, payment failure and refunds
A CurrentStart workspace has no recurring software charge and may be closed or upgraded at any time. A paid subscription may be cancelled at any time through available self-service billing controls or by contacting BuildCurrent support. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, stopping the next renewal while preserving access through the paid-through date.
If a paid renewal fails, the workspace may enter a temporary payment-grace state while payment is retried or updated. The current operational grace period is seven days unless another period is communicated.
Refund requests for paid charges are welcome. The Provider may approve full or partial refunds based on service issues, duplicate or mistaken charges, early cancellation or other reasonable circumstances. Guided Onboarding may be refunded independently from the software subscription. Mandatory legal rights are not limited.
11. End of service and data access
When a workspace closes, or after paid service ends, the Customer may receive a read-only period to review and export available information. The current paid-service read-only period is 30 days. After an applicable retention period, workspace data may be scheduled for deletion subject to legal, financial, fraud-prevention, audit and backup-retention requirements.
12. Confidentiality
Each party will use reasonable care to protect non-public business information received from the other and will use it only for the service relationship, except where disclosure is authorized, required to provide the service, or required by law.
13. Responsibility and limitation of liability
Each party is responsible for its own obligations under this Agreement. BuildCurrent is an operations platform and is not professional legal, accounting, tax, employment, payroll, engineering, construction-code or safety advice.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable for indirect, special, incidental, exemplary or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, opportunities, goodwill or data, where such loss is lawfully excludable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to BuildCurrent will not exceed the total subscription and onboarding fees actually paid by the affected Customer to the Provider during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. For a Customer using only a free plan during that period, the Provider's aggregate liability will not exceed CAD $100.
The liability cap does not apply to payment obligations owed by the Customer, fraud or wilful misconduct, infringement or misuse of the Provider's intellectual property, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Agreement order and changes
For conflicts about a Customer's actual price, plan or included entitlements, the accepted service snapshot controls. This Service Agreement then controls over the general Terms for service-specific matters. The Privacy Policy governs personal-information practices.
Material changes to this Agreement are identified by a new version and effective date. Renewed acceptance will be requested where legally or contractually required.
15. Governing law and contact
This Agreement is governed by the laws of New Brunswick and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to mandatory rights that apply.
